Straightforward IT support when technology gets in the way.

Practical help with computers, Wi-Fi, Microsoft 365, printers, software and the everyday technical problems that stop you getting on with your day.

  • Free while we build experience
  • Remote support
  • Every job ticketed
  • Plain English

Who we help

If it plugs in, logs in or refuses to print, we can probably help.

Individuals at home

A laptop that has slowed to a crawl, an email account that stopped working, a printer that will not connect. Everyday problems, sorted without jargon.

Sole traders

You are the IT department by default. We take the technical problems off your desk so you can get back to the work you actually do.

Very small businesses

A handful of computers, a shared printer, Microsoft 365 and a Wi-Fi network. Enough IT to be a nuisance, not enough to justify hiring someone.

Small local organisations

Clubs, charities and community groups running on donated laptops and goodwill. We are used to working with what is already there.

What we fix

The problems that come up most.

PC & laptop

Slow, stuck or misbehaving computers

Windows troubleshooting, startup problems, software errors and machines that have gradually become unusable.

Wi-Fi & internet

Connections that keep dropping

Wi-Fi coverage, basic networking, internet faults and configuration problems.

Microsoft 365

Email and Office that will not behave

Outlook, OneDrive, Teams and Office troubleshooting, plus account and mailbox configuration.

Printers & devices

Hardware that refuses to cooperate

Printers, monitors, keyboards, mice and other peripherals that have stopped being recognised.

What it costs

Nothing, for now.

We are a new service building genuine helpdesk experience on real problems, rather than claiming we already have it. You get your problem sorted. We get the practice. That is the whole arrangement, and we would rather say it plainly than dress it up.

It does not mean we treat the work casually. Every request is ticketed, written up and seen through properly — that discipline is exactly the thing we are here to build.

If that ever changes, you will know first.

We will say so plainly and well in advance — never partway through a job, and never as a surprise on something already agreed.

What you actually get

One ticket. One technician. Until it’s fixed.

No call centre, no script, no being passed around. The person who reads your request is the person who sorts it.

How support works

Every request becomes a tracked ticket.

Nothing gets lost in a text message or forgotten at the bottom of an inbox. You can see where your issue is up to, and so can we.

  1. Submit a request

Use our support portal to describe what is going wrong, in your own words.

  2. We review it

A technician assesses the issue and contacts you if anything else is needed.

  3. We troubleshoot

We work through the problem remotely, or advise the right next step if remote support is not suitable.

  4. We confirm the fix

The solution is written up and the ticket is closed once the issue is genuinely resolved.

Being straight with you

What we take on, and what we don’t.

We are a small, independent team building genuine helpdesk experience. We would rather tell you plainly where our limits are than take on something that needs a specialist.

What we handle

  • PC and laptop troubleshooting
  • Wi-Fi and small-office networking
  • Microsoft 365, Outlook, OneDrive and Teams
  • Printers and peripherals
  • New device setup and configuration
  • Remote support sessions
  • Login, password and account help
  • Suspicious emails, phishing and malware concerns

What we’ll refer on

  • Production servers
  • Complex Active Directory environments
  • Corporate firewalls
  • Ransomware recovery
  • Critical backup systems
  • Major network migrations
  • Clinical, legal and accounting platforms
  • Anything beyond our current competence

If an issue requires specialist or higher-level support, we’ll be transparent and recommend the appropriate next step.
